Background
Aerotec Engines Limited is located near Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and is one of Canada’s leading aircraft piston engine overhaul shops. Certified by Transport Canada (AMO #6-96) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA #145-7346), Aerotec Engines now maintains engines for an ever-growing fleet of aircraft worldwide.

History
Originally located in the Aerotech Park at the Halifax International Airport, Aerotec was founded in 1996 by Jason Crowell. With a staff of two and an 1,800 sq./ft. shop, Aerotec serviced engines belonging primarily to the local Halifax flying community. Since then, Aerotec Engines has undergone some significant changes. We keep our clients flying all over Canada, New England, and as far away as the Czech Republic. In early 2007, we relocated to a new facility in Beaverbank, Nova Scotia, which offers over 12,000 sq./ft. of workspace. Aerotec now has an ever-growing staff, and we can’t wait to do business with you. For more information, contact us by phone, email or in person.
Aerotec team
We are fortunate to have a dedicated team that includes employees that have been with Aerotec for over 20 years. This picture shows the last engine we built and shipped in 2019 that now flys Medevac missions in Haiti.
